PULL OFF TEST

We will provide an experienced engineer to conduct the pullout test. Three (3) dollies will be
installed in each area. The testing will be carried out in accordance with ASTM C1583,
“Standard Test Method for Tensile Strength of Concrete Surfaces and the Bond Strength or
Tensile Strength of Concrete Repair and Overlay Materials by Direct Tension (Pull-off Method).”
This procedure is used to evaluate the tensile bond capacity between the existing concrete slab
and the new overlay material. In addition, a qualified technician will be supplied with the
necessary equipment to perform drilling operations following the requirements of ASTM C42.
